I’m guessing this probably mid to late 1940’s. The pin part is attached to the secret compartment part, which got lost over time, with this badge it hasn’t been bent or mangled. I never tried to clean this any it is in as found condition. I like to leave it up to the buyer of a product to clean or not to clean.
